my mind…my heart

i only have a few more minutes coz we have yet another series of lectures to listen to while trying hard not to sleep hahahaha! this training is one "heaven" of a hectic training but it is all worth it (at least as far as i have seen and experienced so far hehehe), im sure that all will really be unforgettable. the people that i’ve met, the new friends that i have found, the many new experiences that i have shared with new and old friends alike, and the new discoveries…

there are so many things that i learned actually, and they are so enriching. i also learned how to make sure that i don’t spend beyond the amount that i have and i’m telling you it isn’t much. the amount i only have now comes from two people who gave me 100 each ; p God touched their heart that’s why. i learned to wake up at 4:30 in the morning, which to me is a great feat.

exciting things are yet to come and i am looking forward to all of it. hmm…

the twinkle in her eyes and

cheek instead of the lips,

you in public even if you wear

those old
grass-stained and ripped pants with the bleached jersey like always.

Wait for the girl who
is a constant reminder of

your happiness and
joy, who makes you smile

just by knowing she
loves you back.

gives you piggy back rides to

In public and she
still is in view of her friends

While she gets off
and you hear her go:

“You’re the one for
me, for always.”

        As I close my eyes and open my soul for prayer to ask for the one who
will bring me joy, I ask that he will be strong enough to hold me when I am
weak and gentle enough to wipe the tears from my eyes. Let my cheek fit
perfectly in the crook of his neck so when he embraces me, we are two pieces of
a puzzle complete. Make him smile at the sound of my voice to make me believe
that I am the only woman on earth.

 
 Make him handsome and
winning; give him a sense of humor so he can make me laugh when I feel like
crying. And give him the sensitivity to protect me even from the imaginary
creatures that haunt me. Make him unafraid to show the child inside of him when
he enters the room. Let him be graceful yet masculine. Let him shine even if
only in my eyes. Give him the intelligence to speak to my mind, my heart and my
soul.

 
 Let his words and his
love enter my being like food to a starving soul. Give him a gentle touch, a
strong voice and a loving embrace. Let him love my father and mother as his own
and let them love him as their son.

 
 Allow his shoulder to
be wide enough to carry the burdens of the world with a good heart and an
understanding soul. Give him a direction, an ambition and give him the
initiative to freely seek that which he desires and needs in this life. Let him
accept me for who I am and yet let him point out my mistakes with conceding
that he is not perfect.

 Make him considerate
even when others are not watching. Make him my friend first and lover second.
But most of all make him somebody who embraces You GOD as I know how to embrace
You. Make him unashamed to turn to You in joyous moments and in sad. Let us be
reborn in You, a single soul encompassing two bodies, and let us love You in
peaceful harmony.
